Slabs

Slabs are made of flat reinforced or plain concrete poured into molds. Slabs are often the same thickness throughout, but they can vary as required for the design. Slabs are often used as foundations but can also be used for rooves and countertops.

You'll often see expansion joints in slabs to avoid cracking and premature wear and tear. These expansion joints help the concrete expand and contract with temperature changes, which helps to prevent stress fractures.

Stained Concrete

There are two main types of concrete stains used today. Depending on the customer's requirements, we use water-based or acid-based stains. Acid-based stains typically last longer, as they are chemically bonded to the concrete to form a near-permanent finish. Of all decorative concrete work, stains are by far the easiest to do, and are typically used in conjuction with other decorative services like stamped concrete for example.

Textured Concrete
